Cornerstone Classics (55+) Lunch: Join the group for lunch at Red Bowl in Cary. We’ve reserved a private room for Tuesday, April 30 at 11:30. Please sign up in the narthex.

Cornerstone Serves at the Food bank

Mission Opportunity! Join us at the NC foodbank on Saturday, May 18 from 9:00-noon. This is a great community service activity for participants 12 and older. Sign up in the narthex. The food bank also requires that you register with them directly. Once you sign up in the narthex, Brad P., Cornerstone’s Mission Team Elder, will email you the link to register with the foodbank. On May 18, we will meet at 1924 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604. Questions? Contact the church office or Brad P. with questions.

Youth Happenings!

We are excited to announce that the “offering jugs” will be put back into use! Starting today, we will be collecting loose change during the offering in the gallon jug. This will go to the youth fund, and any amount is greatly appreciated. We will also be having Youth Group Game Night today at 6:30, feel free to bring your friends! Book Discussion Groups

Calling all Readers!  Choose one or both of these books and start reading.  We’ll meet at the church for discussion from 7:00 – 8:30p.m. on the dates listed.  Even if you’re behind in the reading, join us for a discussion of these great books!

Cornerstone Mowers Wanted! 

The building and grounds team is looking for additional mowers to add to our team. If dirtying up your favorite t-shirt has kept you from joining this elite team, rest assured – we’ve got you covered!  Cornerstone Mowers earn a special t-shirt identifying them as one of the few, the tireless, the truly committed to Cornerstone’s buildings and grounds!  If you are interested in learning more, please contact the church office, Tricia@CornerstoneCary.org  

Community Yoga Class (donation based)

All are welcome to join us in the atrium for gentle and slow flow yoga, at 6:30p.m. on Monday, April 8, 15, and 29; at 5:45 on April 22.  Bring a mat and a towel.  This class is open to all levels and abilities.  Our instructor is Karen Parrish, Yoga for All Certified.  Learn more by visiting: www.linktr.ee/karenparrish.  Suggested donation of $10 per class.  Not sure yoga is for you? hopkinsmedicine.org provides that yoga improves strength, balance, flexibility, and can ease arthritis symptoms. Ministry Opportunities!

There are lots of opportunities to get more involved here at Cornerstone!

The All You Need is Love ESL Mission is hosting very successful weeks of classes and 2 dozen women attending.  This is a great need in our community and the students are excited and appreciative.  We need more help with teaching and childcare. If you can commit to a few hours on Wednesday mornings contact Donna Millet at ESL@cornerstonecary.org

Sunday morning help:  We are in need of Lay Leaders, Greeters,  Offering Collectors, Coffee Makers, and Refreshment Coordinators on Sunday mornings.  Please contact the office for more info or sign up here. (You must create a SignUp Genius Account to sign up)   

Handymen and Women: The Building and Grounds committee could use more help. If you can caulk, replace a lightbulb, paint trim, or scrub algae off the fountains please contact the church office.
