Youth Ministry Returns This Sunday! Good NEWS! (Youth Sunday School) resumes this Sunday from 10:00–10:55 a.m., and Youth Group is back from 6:00–8:00 p.m.All middle and high school students are welcome. Additionally, our youth recently returned from a Winter Retreat in Wilmington filled with beach time, reflection, and a focus on what it looks like to “Be Still” as we enter a new year. Thanks for all of your support in 2025– 2026 is shaping up to be another incredible year!

The Missions Committee is seeking new members! We meet monthly on the 3rd or 4th Sunday after the 11a.m. service. The committee coordinates Missions projects and programs throughout the year such as the Little Red Wagon, Habitat for Humanity Build Days, and the Angel Tree. We also decide how to distribute the funds allocated for Missions in our yearly church budget. This year, we are also looking to add a few new projects and could use your help. Please contact our Missions Elder or the office with questions.
Men’s Missions Group: Saturday, January 24 @ 9-10a.m. Men ages 18 and up are invited to join our men’s fellowship group. We normally meet once a month on the 3rd or 4th Saturday of each month between 9-10a.m. in the church barn for food and fellowship. The group also hopes to participate in a church missions project quarterly. Last year, we volunteered at the Dorcas Thrift Shop in Cary, cleaned the barn area and hung up John Morton’s sign, and volunteered at Habitat for Humanity build day in Raleigh. We are in need of Refreshment Coordinators for Sunday mornings. Sign up here. Please contact the office or any Deacon for more info. Those who sign up will need to bring cookies and/or other snacks such as fruit, crackers etc. and lemonade for about 20-25. The coffee is already made and set up. Supplies such as paper plates/cups/napkins are in the cabinet in atrium. Come out during the last hymn to set out refreshments and pour lemonade and water. Cleanup responsibilities are to: clean the big coffee pot, any serving plates, and put any supplies back in the cabinet. Thank you!
Now more than ever, our neighbors need food support. Please help us fill the little red wagon! Cornerstone regularly drops off food & toiletries at Neighbor Up, the new merger of Dorcas & Western Wake Crisis ministry. Please leave your donations in the red wagon near the narthex door. Items often requested include: boxed pasta, laundry detergent, 2lb. bag of flour, Syrup, condiments, shelf-stable milk (non-perishable), peanut butter and jelly, hot cereal (oatmeal, grits, etc.), pancake mix, cereal, brown rice (1lb bags), dry beans (1lb bags), canned pasta, crackers, snacks (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit, snack-size chips, cereal bars, lance crackers), Instant potatoes and stuffing, cooking oil, dish soap, baby wipes

Women Volunteers Needed: Our Women’s ESL Program is seeking warm-hearted ladies to join our volunteer teaching team. You do not need to be a trained teacher or speak another language. Classes meet Wednesdays from 10:00–11:30 a.m. Lesson plans are simple and stress-free. Our ESL ministry cannot continue without dedicated volunteers. We are thrilled to welcome our new Pastor, Rev. Meg Lindsay Dudley. Meg lives in Cary, NC, with her husband and two daughters. She has served in a variety of contexts as solo pastor, youth ministry, campus ministry, hospital chaplaincy, and Christian Education. Meg graduated from Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA with a Master of Divinity and Master of Christian Education, and from Furman University in Greenville, SC. She enjoys traveling and music, crafting and spending time in beautiful Cary with her family.
