Adult Small Group Gathering: 

 Please join us on March 18 from 6:00 to 7:15pm.  What is a small group? It’s a relaxed, welcoming space within our church family where we build meaningful friendships and grow spiritually together. New faces are always welcome! Questions? Reach out to the office.

Lenten Book Study

Lent for Everyone – For the season of Lent, we will be studying Lent for Everyone: Matthew, Year A: A Daily Devotional,  by N.T Wright.  This book has a daily devotional that takes us through the Gospel of  Matthew. Each Wednesday at noon, beginning February 25, we’ll meet at church for “Soup and a Study” – where we will discuss the devotional and enjoy soup and fellowship. 

An evening study group is also available at 7:00 via zoom

Raleigh Rescue Mission Critical Items Drive

During the entire month of March, Cornerstone will be collecting items for the Raleigh Rescue Mission. The organization provides shelter and food to those in need in the Raleigh area. They are currently in critical need of the following new items: 

· Moisturizing body wash · Moisturizing body lotion · Diapers in sizes 4-7 · Pull Ups in sizes 3T-4T, 4T-5T, 5T-6T · Children’s underwear in sizes 2T-5T Please drop off any donated items in the bins located in the Narthex. 

VBS July 8-10 Registration is Open

Cornerstone VBS: Come have fun with us!  July 9th-11th from 5:00-8:00p.m. Registration is now open. for all kids ages 3 – 12. Each evening will be filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences that kids will see, hear, and touch. Team-building games, cool Bible songs, and multisensory Bible adventures are just a few of the activities that will help faith flow into real life! Great Ways to Get Involved!

The Missions Committee is seeking new members! We meet one Sunday a month after the 11a.m. service. The committee coordinates Missions projects and programs throughout the year such as the Little Red Wagon, Habitat for Humanity Build Days, and the Angel Tree. We also decide how to distribute the funds allocated for Missions in our yearly church budget. This year, we are also looking to add a few new projects and could use your help. Please contact our Missions Elder or the office with questions.

Women Volunteers Needed: Our Women’s ESL Program is seeking warm-hearted ladies to join our volunteer teaching team. You do not need to be a trained teacher or speak another language. Classes meet Wednesdays from 10:00–11:30 a.m. Lesson plans are simple and stress-free. Our ESL ministry cannot continue without dedicated volunteers.  Please spread the work, we would truly love to welcome members and non-members to volunteer. Can you help with Refreshments? We are in need of Refreshment Coordinators for Sunday mornings. Sign up here.  Please contact the office or any Deacon for more info.  Come out during the last hymn to set out refreshments and pour lemonade and water. Cleanup responsibilities are to: clean the big coffee pot, any serving plates, and put any supplies back in the cabinet. Thank you! Contact the office or any Deacon for more info.

Sunday morning help:  We are in need of Lay Leaders, Greeters, Offering Collectors, Coffee Makers, and Refreshment Coordinators on Sunday mornings.  Please contact the office for more info.

Handymen and Women: The Building and Grounds committee is always looking for volunteers. Many hands make light work! If you can caulk, replace a lightbulb, paint trim, landscape or wash algae off the fountains please contact the church office or speak with Elder, Brenda C.

Cornerstone Choir: Come make joyful noise! Choir practice is held Wednesday evenings at 7:15. If you would like to join contact our Music Director, Grant at grantosborne.go@gmail.com.

Cornerstone Builds!

Habitat Build: Cornerstone is partnering with the Kirk of Kildaire to offer volunteer opportunities with Habitat for Humanity on their Saturday build days at Old Poole Place in Raleigh. The first of these dates is Saturday, March 21, from 8a.m. – 3:30p.m. Sign up here, be sure to volunteer for the Old Poole Place  location. Questions? Contact the church office..

Stewardship 2026

Thank you to all who have already submitted your pledge cards for the coming year.  If you have not done so, please prayerfully discern what you are able to give.  Remember, this is a good-faith estimate.  Your pledge allows Session to better budget for the coming year.  Can we increase mission gifts?  Can we subsidize a youth summer trip?  Remember, God loves a cheerful giver!
