Habitat for Humanity: Each year local Presbyterian churches come together to work with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for families in need. Cornerstone is an active participant in these builds. Please consider joining our group in Raliegh on Saturday, November 16! Each participant, 16 years old and older. Please sign up in the narthex and be sure to register directly with Habitat for the November 16 event in Raleigh: register directly with Habitat.
Join us for a delicious chili dinner and an engaging discussion on the benefits of “Small Groups” for you and Cornerstone. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect and grow together! Cornerstone is hosting a Red Cross Blood drive, Wednesday, November 27 from 9:00-2:00. Please join us in this lifesaving effort. Schedule an appointment at redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: “Cornerstone”.
Youth Group is moving right along this year and we’d love to see your students join us on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00p.m. Next week, November 24, will be our Friendsgiving meal during youth, and everyone 6th-12th grade is invited! Bring a side dish or dessert to share, and come for a night of foods, games, and laughs as we gather together in gratitude for one another. Sunday school is ongoing, and we’d love to tell you all about it, too. Hanging of the Greens: Join us, Friday, December 6 from 5:30-8:30p.m. as we decorate Cornerstone for the Christmas season! Pizza will be served. We will have music, kids & youth activities, and goodies to share. All are welcome to this festive event!
What better way to embrace the Christmas spirit than to join us for Cornerstone Choir’s Christmas Cantata. We will have one service on Sunday, December 15 at 11:00a.m. to present the cantata. Come enjoy the glorious music! Bring your friends and neighbors!
Yoga at Cornerstone is resuming! Join us in the Atrium Wednesday nights from 6- 7:00p.m. through November 20. Bring a mat and water if you’d like it. Karen Parrish is the main teacher and will offer stretches using chairs for those who prefer not to be on the floor. There will be no charge to participants. Your friends and neighbors are welcome to join!
Parents, drop your kids off at church for a Parents Night Out! Kids will play games, decorate cookies, make crafts, and watch a Christmas movie! Join us December 7th, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Kids are welcome to wear their pajamas to the event! Sign up in the narthex.
